The Bitter Truth is there is nothing wrong with same sex marriage. I believe that love is love, whether it is between a man and a woman, a man and a man or a woman and a woman. The only time love is wrong is when it's between a man (or woman) and an animal. That is bestiality and it's very very wrong. But maybe love is the wrong word to describe what safe sex couple wants. After all we "Love" a TV show or a restaurant or our iPhones. Some guys love their cars. Then there are the guys who make love to their cars. That's called Auto Erotica. Very wrong.
What same sex couples want is equality. They want their unions to be recognized in the same way straight married couples are. They want the same rights and privileges that my wife have. I say let's them eat cake. Actually some British Queen said that centuries ago. I say, "Let Them be married." If gay couples want to trade having expensive brunches with all their fabulous friends and commit to the mundane day to day responsibilities of marriage--Go ahead. Why should anyone stop you from ruining your life (note to my wife--Kidding!)
Now Christian Conservatives are outraged at the concept of same sex marriages. They yell that "Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. " Always been that way. Shouldn't change. With that attitude African Americans would still be slaves and woman not allowed to vote. Things change, It's called "Evolution." A concept that is to scary for these small mind conservatives to grasp. Mind you these are the same morons that think, regardless of circumstance (including rape or birth defects) all babies should be born and that a woman should not have the right to choose. The preach morality but end up being the first person arrested pants less at a back alley glory hole (Google it). They preach "Do As I Say Not As I Do" Hypocrisy with venom and hate.
Love is love and if two people love each other, and those two are committed to all the work they have to do to make a marriage work, I say that, regardless of their sexual orientations, they should be allowed to get hitched and that's The Bitter Truth
