The Bitter Truth is that contrary to the media blitz that has been launched to promote his new CD, Justin Timberlake is NOT the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen. To quote the poet Flava Flav-"Don't, Don't, Don't  believe the Hype!" Don't get me wrong the former NSYNC member is talented, A solid singer and dancer. Plus he's funny as hell on Saturday Night Live. But that has more to do with the writers of SNL than anything else.

And as an actor he is simply functional.  Quick name your favorite Justin Timberlake film?  And don't say "Social Network" he basically himself in that over rated piece of crap.  Here is a sentence I'm sure we will never hear is "And the Academy Award for best actor goes to Justin Timberlake."  He's just not that good.  The funny thing is how hard Timberlake's PR people want us to think he is a rare breed.  There was a time not so long ago when all actors had to be "Triple threats" (singers/actors/dancers.)  Anything less

The greatest entertainer in the history of show business was Sammy Davis jr.  The stunningly talented Rat Pack crooner was a force of nature.  Like Timberlake he could sing, dance and act.  But he could also do impressions, play a half dozen instruments (including drums, piano and trumpet)  and hypnotize audiences around the world with his sheer brilliance.  And he did it for decades.  Justin Timberlake is no Sammy Davis Jr.  He is not the second coming of showbiz royalty.  He's just a talented guy with one hell of a PR team And that's The Bitter Truth

Being a dad is the greatest job I've ever had.  And it's a huge pain in the ass.
